Muscles of the Hip

Gluteal Group: Gluteus maximus, medius, and minimus – their role in movement and stabilization.

Hip Flexors: Psoas major and iliacus (iliopsoas), rectus femoris, and sartorius.

Adductors: Adductor magnus, longus, and brevis; their function in Pilates movements.

Abductors: Role in leg lifts and maintaining pelvis stability during unilateral exercises.

External Rotators: The piriformis and other deep rotators, their significance in alignment and movement.
