Why Reformer Pilates?

A body you can
rely on.

What good is strength if you do not feel comfortable using it?

In the Movement Lab, you learn how to organise a movement, control the resistance and find options that work for your body. The springs give you feedback. Your teacher helps you make sense of it.

This is the foundation of our longevity concept. Practise moving well here, build muscle in our Strength Lab and make room to rest in our Recovery Lab. They work beautifully together.

01

Mobility & Control

Explore a useful range of movement and practise controlling it. Move your joints, work your core and build strength through that range.

02

Resilience and Injury Prevention

Develop movement options and build capacity gradually. After rehabilitation, the right adaptations can help you return to regular movement with confidence.

03

Balance and Body Awareness

Practise sensing where your body is in space. That is proprioception, and it matters when you balance, change direction or learn a new movement.

More ways to move

The Reformer.
And then some.

  1. 01 · REFORMER

    Resistance you can work with.

A moving carriage, adjustable springs and straps. They can support a movement or make it more challenging, depending on what we are practising.

  2. 02 · TOWERS

    A different direction.

Tower springs and bars change where resistance comes from. That gives us more ways to practise pushing, pulling, reaching and controlling the spine.

Tower exercises are sprinkled into many of our Reformer Pilates classes. Dedicated Tower classes will be added in the future.

  3. 03 · JUMPBOARDS

    A little more spring.

A padded board adds supported jumping on the carriage. Practise coordination, rhythm and controlled landings, with options to match your body.

The accessories serve the movement. We choose them for what they help you learn, and show you how to use them.

Choose your experience

Four ways.
Your pace.

Some days you want to work with more resistance. Some days you want to slow down. You belong in the room either way.

Good to know

New to the
Reformer?

Ella, the Soma Co. dog, here to help with your questions
01Do I need experience?+

No. Our regular classes welcome different levels. Tell your teacher you are new so they can introduce the equipment and help you choose suitable options. You do not have to keep up with someone else.

02What should I bring?+

Grip socks are compulsory. Bring water and wear clothes you can move in. Grip socks are available to buy at the studio. The Reformers and class equipment are provided.

03When should I arrive?+

For your first visit, arrive at least 10 minutes before class for an introduction. Doors open 15 minutes before the session. We start on time and cannot admit late arrivals.

04Are the classes in English?+

Yes. Classes are taught in English, with clear demonstrations and plenty of room for questions.

05Are Towers and Jumpboards included?+

Yes. They are part of the Movement Lab equipment. Your teacher selects equipment to suit the class. Power Jump Fusion specifically combines Reformer strength work and Jumpboard sequences.

06Can I join with an injury or during pregnancy?+

Contact us before booking so we can discuss the right setting. For pregnancy, we require your physician’s approval; new Reformer students need private sessions first. Group adaptations are limited. Individual rehabilitation needs should be discussed with your treating professional.

07How do I cancel a booking?+

Cancel in Eversports at least 24 hours before class. Late cancellations, no-shows and late arrivals forfeit the session. Check the terms shown with your booking.

08What if I want to take it easier?+

Take the option that works for you. Pause, change a movement or ask for help. Our teaching is invitational, and listening to your body is welcome here.
